We praise God each time someone makes a decision to embrace the everlasting gospel and signify their new life in Jesus by baptism. It’s a significant waymark, the beginning of a new life, a new walk with Jesus Christ, guided by the Holy Spirit just as Jesus was here on Earth.
We also praise God when we receive calls from Strong Tower Radio [STR] listeners who share their blessing of recently encountering STR or when a church member recounts meeting an STR listener for the first time. What follows are glimpses into why we’ve been praising God lately!
A northern Michigan couple have been listening to STR for a few months and were convicted to visit a local Adventist church. They spoke at length with the pastor, and have continued attending this church and exploring further questions.
A mid-Michigan evangelistic series concluded with numerous baptisms, and one of those baptized said, “I know all this is true, I’ve been listening to STR for years.”
A central Michigan Bible scholar was changing the radio dial and encountered STR during a reading of Desire of Ages. Captivated by the depth of the chapter being read, this new listener wanted to know more and looked up their local Adventist church. Visiting the following Sabbath, this listener asked about STR and the reading. The church members contacted STR, determined the program aired, and provided a free copy of the book! We trust this new listener is still listening, still engaged.
A ministry that STR broadcasts was contacted directly by a listener who expressed great appreciation for the program and had further questions. They’re clearly seeking a deeper connection with Jesus and a church that lives by and teaches 100% truth.
They continue to listen to Strong Tower Radio, and we look forward to this listener embracing the full gospel in the near future!
A few weeks ago, an STR listener of 18 months walked into her local SDA church with an amazing testimony of how the Holy Spirit led her to attend that church that day. (I look forward to a detailed testimony in the future).
A friend recently shared that his aunt, who doesn’t profess Christianity, told him a few days prior that she’s been an STR listener for the past two years! It was a surprising encouragement to him, and we say, “Praise the Lord!”
A new friend I met recently told me that a client of his asked him whether he was an Adventist after he had prayed with the client. He said ‘yes,’ and the client shared that they listen to STR and that my new friend reminds them of the people/content of STR!
A listener recently contacted a local SDA pastor and asked to meet with him because he wanted to know more about our beliefs. All he knows about SDAs is what he’s been learning from listening to STR for several years. That meeting led to another, and then to Bible studies, praise God!
Friends, this has all transpired within the past few weeks!! The Holy Spirit continues to escalate His work through the radio dial, drawing people into all truth. You’ve clearly been joining us in praying for more listeners to be drawn to Jesus through our broadcasts! Please keep praying for these listeners that more will tune in to hear the eternal truth on Strong Tower Radio, where many lives are being changed. Hallelujah, glory to God!!
