𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙙 𝙇𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨! We continue to meet STR listeners in many places, both geographically throughout Michigan and in their spiritual experiences with the ministry broadcast. Many of you give sacrificially to support this ministry, and there is much fruit developing from your sacrifice. Let me share a few of them with you.
Val, who lives near Ludington, has been listening to STR for three months, and her friends have noticed that she is much happier. Discarding TV because of its poor content, she turned to radio and discovered STR. Val first heard the uplifting music one morning, then a powerful sermon, truth-filled children’s stories, and loved it all. She especially likes the Michigan pastors’ Biblical messages and encourages her friends to listen to STR!
My wife Jodi recently met a berry farmer near Muskegon who has listened to STR for several years. Just minutes before they met, he had been listening to an STR program on victory over addictions. He repeatedly shared how much he appreciates the messages he hears on STR. Praise God!
Dale is a veteran who discovered STR while looking for hope and a reason to live. Listening from northeastern Michigan for a few years now, he says the exposure to Bible truth has been changing his life. He initially resisted what he heard, such as the Bible speaking against alcohol: “I don’t want to hear that!” he thought. Yet through the clear Biblical sermons, Bible Q&A programs, health, and practical Christian living programs, along with music that uplifts Jesus, the Holy Spirit spoke to Dale. Convicted of both his value to God and his need of God’s power in his life, Dale began experiencing transformation. He says “I pray regularly now, and truth is sinking in deeper. I confront my inner man instead of avoiding him, and God strengthens me. I’ve been free of alcohol for almost three years, tobacco for almost 2 years, and unclean foods for over one year, praise God!”
Eric lives in central Michigan and listens to STR while driving a parcel delivery route. He has listened for several years and has been convicted by what he’s heard. He has begun attending his local Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) church, and while he hasn’t joined yet, on the Sabbath that I met him, he had scheduled a Bible study that afternoon to introduce some friends to the three angels’ messages! Glory to God!
These testimonies showcase a few examples of the Holy Spirit working through the STR broadcast to change lives. We’ve observed that STR listeners often listen for 2-3 years before making a decision to accept the everlasting gospel and move forward by faith. Thank you for your ongoing prayer and financial investment. The fruit of your sacrifice both increases and ripens by the day and souls are embracing the whole, life-transforming gospel of Jesus Christ!
