“Sourdough for Beginners” in Lansing

November 9 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Sourdough bread is so easy to make, healthy, and cheap!

Let’s get back to the basics, this class will teach you how to make your own sourdough bread.  Unlike many of the store sourdough breads, our receipt made from just a few simple ingredients: flour, water, and salt; and does not taste “sour.”

Learn how to make homemade yeast (starter) for delicious and nutritious breads.

Correctly made, sourdough provides healthy carbs, protein, fiber, iron and vitamins like folic acid and known to help digestion, lower chronic disease risk, and even promote healthy aging.  Finally, learn common sourdough misunderstandings and mistakes.

This homemade “Sourdough for Beginners” free class is Sunday, November 9 beginning at 3 p.m. at the Lansing Seventh-day Adventist Church located at 5400 West St. Joseph Hwy., Lansing.
