The Reality of Human Trafficking Zoom Training

“Behind Closed Doors: The Reality of Human Trafficking” is a Zoom Training on May 8 at 11:30 a.m. Human trafficking survivors require healthcare that is trauma-informed and culturally sensitive to their needs. Coordination is needed between health providers and statutory and voluntary organizations. You will learn the legal definition of sex trafficking, the top 3 ways victims are recruited into sex trafficking, and the impact of sex trafficking in Michigan, behavioral characteristics of victims, methods of grooming, and how traffickers control victims physically & psychologically. Professional continuing education credits may be earned for attending.
