Who is\nJesus? and Why does it matter? We will analyze the historical reliability\,\ndevelopment\, and main themes\, of the Bible\, and more specifically the Gospels of\nMatthew\, Mark\, Luke\, and John\, the historical biographies of Jesus Christ. \nPresentation 2: (November 14: @ 7:15pm) – Jesus of Faith and History\nThe Gospel authors and others claimed to have seen Jesus post-resurrection. If\nsomeone truly rose from the dead wouldn’t ancient history attest to this fact? Join\nus as we analyze both biblical and secular history while discovering if the Jesus of\nfaith matches with the Jesus of history. \nPresentation 3: (November 15 @ 6:00pm) – Messianic Prophecies\nThe Old Testament is hundreds of prophecies regarding the promised Messiah.\nWere they fulfilled? We will be focusing on the books of Isaiah and Daniel to see\nthe man Jesus fulfill these ancient prophecies\, as well as a time prophecy that\npredicts the very year that the Messiah would be “Cut off” (crucified). \nPresentation 4: (November 15 @ 7:15pm) – The Ressurection’s Aftermath\nWhat was the aftermath of the story? Did the people believe it? There certainly\nrumors and doubts regarding the body of Jesus even amongst His own inner\ncircle. Even the secular histories are full of different ideas of what caused such a\nstir. In this hour we will examine the Biblical narrative\, and feel the aftermath of\nthat miraculous event even today. \n
